CONNERTOR.jpg

FIBER OPTIC CONNECTOR

1.Telecommunications

2.CATV, LAN, MAN, WAN, Test &Measurement

3.Military industry

4.Medical

OVERVIEW

Fiber optic connector has a screw thread fitting into the adapter to provide a secure connection. The connector is comprised of a nickel plated brass body and a ceramic ferrule/spring/crimp barrel assem bly plus a crimp-over sleeve and rubber boot.

Fiber optic connector, or optical fiber connector, is a component to terminate the end of fiber optical cable, and enables quicker connection and disconnection than fiber splicing. It mechanically couples and aligns the fiber cores to make light pass successfully. Therefore, fiber optic connector has an important impact on the fiber optic transmission reliability and the performance of the system. Quality optical connectors lose very little light due to reflection or misalignment of the fibers.

APPLICATION

These connectors are suitable for 900µm, 2mm and 3mm cable. The connector is precision made and manufactured to demanding specifications. The combination of a ceramic ferrule with precision nickel plated brass housing provides consistent,long-term mechanical and optical performance.

FEATURES

High size precision.

Good repeatability.

Good changeability.

Good temperature stabilization.

High wearable.

ADAPTER.jpg

FIBER OPTIC ADAPTER

OVERVIEW

3PL FIBER OPTIC produce diversfied types of adapters including FC,SC,ST,LC,MU,MTRJ,E2000,DIN,D4,MPO,FC-SC,FC-ST,SC-ST,LC-FC,LC-SC etc.Integrative construction of connector, good and low insertion loss and high return loss can satify the requirements of fast, exact, lastingand stable connection in different environments.

Adapters are designed for multimode or singlemode cables. The singlemode adapters offer more precise alignment of the tips of the connectors (ferrules). It is ok to use singlemode adapters to connect multimode cables, but you should not use multimode adapters to connect singlemode cables. This can cause misalignment of the small singlemode fibers and loss of signal strength (attenuation).

When connecting two multimode fibers, you should always make sure they are the same core diameter (50/125 or 62.5/125). A mismatch here will cause attenuation in one direction (where the larger fiber is transmitting light into the smaller fiber).

APPLICATION

Fiber optic adapter are used in fiber optic connection, the typical use is to provide a cable to cable fiber connection.

FEATURES

High size precision.

Good repeatability.

Good changeability.

Good temperature stabilization.

High wearable.

ATTENUATOR.jpg

FIBER OPTIC ATTENUATOR

2.CATV, LAN, MAN, WAN, Test &Measurement

3.Military industry

4.Medical

OVERVIEW

Fiber optic attenuators are devices which reduce (attenuate) the strength of a fiber optic signal within a fiber optic network. Attenuators are usually used when the signal arriving at the receiver is too strong and hence may overpower the receiving elements. This may occur because of a mismatch between the transmitters/receivers (transceivers, media converters), or because the media converters are designed for a much longer distance than for which they are being used. Sometimes attenuators are also used for stress testing a network link by incrementally reducing the signal strength (increasing the dB attenuation) until the optical link fails, thus determining the signal’s existing safety margin.

Our attenuators are a very high quality design using doped fiber to attenuate the signal. Our singlemode attenuators offer a operating wavelength range of 1250nm to 1600nm, covering both the common 1310nm and 1550nm operating wavelengths.

Maximum transmission power is typically one watt. We stock attenuators for the following fiber optic connector types: ST, SC, SC/APC, FC, FC/APC, LC, LC/APC, MU. Other connector type attenuators are available upon special order. We stock most values between 1dB and 25dB for each of these attenuator types.

Although fiber optic attenuators are normally used in singlemode circuits, because this is where the stronger lasers are used for distance transmission, we also have multimode attenuators available (upon special order) in 50/125 and 62.5/125 fiber sizes. Since these will be custom made, minimum order quantity (50+) and extended lead time (2-4 weeks) may be required.
